January 2009 Corvette Sales

GM released the first sales figures for the new year and for the first time since we started keeping track in 2006, Corvette deliveries dropped below 1,000 units to close at 842 for the month of January. Unfortunately for both GM and the assembly workers in Bowling Green, 842 Corvette sales does little to alleviate the supply of Corvettes on the ground and the slow sales could force the company to keep the factory''s doors closed longer than planned.
