Hej til alle jer der vil ned til Le Mans og opleve racet på tæt hold, jeg har fået en mail fra den franske arrangør, som skriver at den formelle invitation og tilmeldingsskema er lige på trapperne, når det kommer lægger jeg skemaet ud på hjemmesiden samt mit telefonnummer, hvis der er nogen der har brug for vejledning i skemaet eller bare info om området dernede, jeg skal ikke selv derned i år, men hjælper gerne medlemmer der vil køre de ca. 1500 km i en corvette. For jer der ikke har prøvet turen er det en fed oplevelse at stå blandt corvetter fra hele europa og heppe på corvetterne der drøner forbi ude på racerbanen, corvettelejren ligger helt ud til banen, så der er tale om en oplevelse for fuld skrue i 24 timer.

Hello all Corvette fans

a quick second set of communications for the event in (gosh) 2 weeks:

2) The International Corvette Clubs Karting Challenge is on! See attm., and book a kart or 2 for your Club: the race is right next to our Corral on Friday morning (Jani: I'll take the blame for only noticing the missing Finnish flag now: you guys should perhaps just win the kart race to make a point!!)

3) Very important visit at the Corral at 12:30 on Friday: be there with a big marker!

4) Street address for the Corvette Corral: Karting Alain Prost / Technoparc, Chemin aux Boeufs, 72230 Mulsanne. GPS Coordinates N 47,941° - E 0,211°

5) There will be the traditional Raffle, with cool prizes drawing on Saturday night

6) An auction will also take place on Saturday night, perhaps also on Friday already, given that Saturday is always pretty loaded with activities

7) Hervé Legay has taken numerous good pictures last year and offers quality printing: he'll be there to take orders

8) That Friday night is getting cooler (or is it hotter?) by the minute: we announce French Cancan at the Corvette Corral after dinner: be there for a talented trio of dancers from Paris

And a few event announcements, for which we'll have more info materials on-site:
- The Swiss Corvette Club International (SCCI) organizes their famous Corvette Euro Meet on July 30th-31st. It will take place at the Circuit de Bresse, between Lyon and Dijon (F)
- If you have a car from 1980 or older and like mountain rallies, this might be for you, just the weekend following Le Mans: www.alpinechallenge.ch
- However, competing for your attention on the same weekend -and talking to your heart as a Corvette owner- is a parade of 700 to 1'000 Chevrolet in La Chaux-de-Fonds (CH) -Louis' birthplace- to celebrate the centenary of the Chevrolet Company!
- The same organisation plans the 14th Louis Chevrolet Event, an exciting and classy tour through Switzerland from the 26th to the 29th of August.

Som,jeg skrev i den PM jeg sendte. Har jeg tilmeldt 1 stk. camper, 4 personer. Så de første 4 danskere er på campen.

Når du bliver bekendtgjort med at der står en halvfed, halvskaldet, mand der postulerer at han kender dig, og vil ind og hilse på og se og gud ved hvad, "så er det mig der står og banker på" sammen med min lille søn (98 kg brandmand), som ligner mig (synes jeg), så luk mig dog ind ! Jeg kommer pr bus til K-Camp as usual.
