Stel nr.

'63-'64 VIN plates (with rounded corners) are spotwelded to the body hinge pillar brace below the right hand side of the glove compartment. A new design plate (with rounded corners) enters production approximately 6/15/63, containing letters "DD" (indicating Delivery Date) with blank space for dealers to stamp the delivery date of the vehicle. Note: Many vehicles will not have any date stamped.
'65-'67 VIN plates (with square corners) are riveted to the body hinge pillar brace below the glove compartment. The change to rivets was necessary due to dealers breaking the VIN plate attaching welds when stamping the Delivery Date. Early '65 VIN plates are attached with normal circular-head rivets. Later rivets are rosette shaped. Again, Delivery Dates were not always stamped.
The '63-'72 frame has the serial number stamped in the top of the driver's side outside rail, just forward of the #4 body mount. The number is also on the driver's side top rail just forward of the #3 body mount.
Again, numbers can be seen with the frame on the chassis with some effort (use a small mirror).
The '63 (and perhaps all C2's) has also been stamped into the side rail just forward of the rear axle bumper mounting bracket on top of the rail.
God fornøjelse med et lille spejl :coolgleamA:
